One State to Several
Project Overview
This client came to us as a single-state NEMT operator already running trips the demand was there, but the paperwork behind it wasn't keeping up. Claims paperwork and broker portal rework were falling behind, and without daily follow-up, aging claims and denials were quietly piling up in the queue. As the operator pushed to expand from one state into several, that gap only got more expensive: more trips meant more broker touchpoints, more payer variation, and more room for claims to sit unworked.
They needed a back office that could scale with them, not one they'd have to rebuild every time they entered a new state.
Approach
We took over the full claims cycle inside their existing systems rather than asking them to switch platforms. That meant working their broker portals directly — Modivcare, MTM, and Access2Care — alongside their standard payer claims, with daily follow-up so nothing aged silently in the queue. Coverage ran 24/7/365, including holidays, because trip volume doesn't pause for a long weekend.
Broker portal claims & rework (Modivcare, MTM, Access2Care)
Daily AR follow-up — no 30-day silent waits
24/7/365 coverage, including holidays
Results & Ongoing Partnership
Clean, consistently-worked paperwork kept broker and payer relationships solid through every stage of the client's growth — which mattered more as trip volume climbed and the operator expanded from a single state into several. Two years in, we're still running their back office today.
